Caroline & Jim, 13 December 2008, Whittingehame, East Lothian

Caroline and Jim had planned a Winter afternoon wedding in the small church next to Caroline's parents' house, which means so much to her and her family.
Guests were treated to mulled wine outside the church, warming them in the cold winter rain.
The charismatic (and very funny) minister Howard is a close friend of the family, so the service was very personal and warm.
After the service the couple were driven along the torch-lit road to the beautifully lit (and wonderfully warm!) marquee next door, where the 200 guests all contributed to a happy and lively atmosphere.
It was obvious to everyone that Jim and Caroline love each other very much and that all their friends and family think the world of them. We were so pleased to be a part of their big day, and wish them a long and very happy life together.

Winter Weddings

As the light in Scotland is becoming a rare sight and the frost is chasing everyone indoors, what could be more enchanting and heart-warming than a Winter Wedding?
Candles and fires burning, big winter coats, sparklers and hot drinks all contribute to a warm and cozy atmosphere.
We have put together a selection of some of our favourite Winter Wedding photos, and will be posting more in the next few weeks, as we venture out to East Lothian and Ayrshire for what promise to be truly magical pre-Christmas weddings!
