Francesca & Andrew, St Mary’s RC Church, Inverness & Dalcross Castle, Croy

We were really excited about the wedding of Francesca and Andrew - a beautiful and fun couple, who'd chosen a great venue to celebrate their marriage; the lovely Dalcross Castle.
Francesca spent the morning getting ready at Dalcross, surrounded by her friends and family.
The service took place in St Mary's Church in Inverness, where Francesca walked down the aisle along with no less than nine gorgeous little flowergirls and pageboys. They all performed their duties perfectly, including providing a shower of soap bubbles outside the church.
As we arrived back to Dalcross Castle, we whisked the couple off for a few photographs in the magnificent grounds before they rejoined their guests drinking champagne in the sun.
Before dinner the speakers had everyone captivated with three touching - and very funny - speeches.
As the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife they looked so happy together, and everyone present could see they were a truly perfect match.
We left the wedding feeling that the day had exceeded our very high expectations - in every way.
We wish Francesca and Andrew a long and happy marriage and look forward to showing them the rest of the pictures when they return from honeymoon.

Emily & Richard, Whittingehame Church and Tyninghame Estate

Having photographed the wedding of Emily's sister in 2008, we were delighted to be back in the beautiful surroundings of Tyninghame Estate to photograph the wedding of Emily and Richard.
Making everything appear effortlessly wonderful must come naturally to the Ayre family; the gardens, flowers, surroundings - even the weather - were all truly perfect for a summer wedding.
The ceremony took place in the utterly charming Whittinghame Church, with a close family friend conducting the service. After the service flowergirl Emma enchanted the entire congregation as she made sure they all had handfuls of flower petals to trow at the couple.
When we arrived back at Tyninghame Estate, we went for a wander with the newlyweds to take a few photos in the fairy-tale-like surroundings. Meanwhile guests enjoyed the warm sunny day, the cool champagne and some exquisite canapes (by the aptly named Wilde Thyme), before they were piped along a flower-strewn path, underneath the Laburnum trees, into the beautifully decorated marquee for dinner and dancing.
We truly loved being part of yet another fantastic wedding in the Ayre family and wish Emily and Richard a lifetime of love and happiness together.
