Chen & Gary, Melville Castle, Edinburgh | Wedding photography

Chen and Gary's mix of Scottish and Chinese wedding traditions made for a wonderful day at their intimate Melville Castle wedding this week. I loved seeing all the kilts there, many of the men wearing them for the first time, including both dads.
Before the wedding dinner, there was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. I love how tea ceremonies are described as "an adoration of the beautiful among the sordid facts of everyday life". Don't we need more of that? So why not make yourself a beautiful cup of tea and enjoy this little preview?

Chen and Gary, thank you so much for having me there for your wedding, and for making me feel so welcome!
I wish you all the happiness in the future and look forward to showing you the full set of photos soon!

Louise & Glenn, Dundas Castle near Edinburgh | Wedding Photography

So proud to share Louise and Glenn's wedding photos - so many lovely things, people and moments to photograph.
And surprises! I loved it that Louise and Glenn managed to keep the amazing fireworks at the end a secret from all the guests. But the most amazing surprise has to be when Glenn's brother arrived unannounced all the way from Australia! So many happy tears were shed that day, and we loved being there to witness it all.
Enjoy this little preview of their gorgeous day.

Louise and Glenn, thank you so much for having us there with you on your big day. We wish you lots of happiness in your marriage and look forward to showing you the rest of the photos soon.
